Powers, At Will

Everyone begins with one additional At-Will power.

Powers, Utility/Skill

When gaining utility powers, you gain a utility power from one of your classes as normal, and may also take a Skill power as well.

Human Racial Adjustment

Humans may gain an extra at will power at 1st level or the Jack of All Trades feat even if you do not meet the prerequisites.

Benefit Points or “Bennies”

Benefit Points may be used to increase the result of a skill check or attack roll by their value, or the result of an damage roll by double their value. You may only spend one benefit point an encounter. At the end of each level you lose all accumulated benefit points. benefit points gain additional uses at these teirs.

Paragon +1 Bennies may be used to spend a healing surge and regain your healing surge value hitpoints

Paragon +2 Bennies may be used to regain a spent encounter power or to spend a healing surge and regain your healing surge value hitpoints

Epic +1 Bennies may be used to spend a healing surge and regain your healing surge value + 1/2 level hitpoints

Epic +2 Bennies may be used to regain a spent encounter or daily power or to spend a healing surge and regain your healing surge value + 1/2 level hitpoints

At the end of each level unused Bennies must be traded in for EXP, +2 bennies are worth more than +1 bennies and their trade in value will scale with your level.

Timed Combats

If the players can win a combat in an appropriate amount of time, the encounter is worth more experience points and treasure. If players “S Rank” and encounter additional rewards such as bennies or healing may be allotted

Session Summaries and Journals

Any player who contributes significantly to the session summaries, or keep & update a personal campaign journal will receive a +2 benefit point at the beginning of the next session.

Online RP

Players who participate in the online RP will receive experience points, also players who perform extremely well in the RP will Receive a +1 Benefit point at the beginning of the next session.

Feats

As the Weapon/Implement Expertise feats are generally considered “math patches” that are meant to fix some problems with the math inherent in the system, these feats will be given to each character for free. Please remember to give your character and extra +1 to attack at levels 5, 15, and 25.

Linguist – This feat may only be taken at level 1, learning new languages will be based on roleplay.

If you take a multiclass feat that gives you training in a skill you already have trained, you instead gain Skill Focus for that skill.

Milestones

When the party gains a milestone, they will recover a healing surge in addition to gaining an action point. You cannot go over your normal amount of healing surges.

Point Buy

A player reward Point Buy is in place.

Partial Ability Score Float

When applying racial ability modifiers, you may choose one of the two scores and change it to what you like other than the score you already have (e.g. you can’t take a +4 in something), this effectively makes many more races open to playing other classes more effectively. Humans are able to get +2 in two stats of their choice.
